About Room At The Inn
Rooted in faith, growing through compassion
Room At The Inn began with a simple desire to meet a deep need: to give homeless pregnant women a safe place to call home.
Our Story
What started as a small act of faith
What started as a small act of faith has become a lasting ministry of hope for families across North Carolina.
More Than Thirty Years
One home became a network of programs
For more than thirty years, Room At The Inn has opened its doors to women facing homelessness, poverty, and crisis pregnancies across North Carolina.
What began as one home for expectant mothers has grown into a network of programs that nurture both body and spirit: safe housing, education, job training, childcare, and the ongoing care that helps a family stay standing once they leave.
Our Philosophy
Faith and compassion change everything
We believe that faith and compassion change everything. When a mother feels safe, supported, and loved, she can begin to imagine a different future for her family.
We serve without judgment and with deep respect for each person’s journey. Every class taught, every meal shared, and every door held open is part of that belief in practice.

Our Leadership
A team that shares a heart for service
Room At The Inn is led by a dedicated team of professionals, volunteers, and community leaders who share a heart for service. Together, they ensure that our mission remains clear: to be a place where hope is born and lives are changed.
